  • Many Facilitators of such programmes have been trianed to this level of competence and enables them to fully appreciate the importance of such concepts as JIT, SMED, Cycle time reduction, TPM, Kaizen (Quality Circles), Hoshin Planning, Policy Deployment (Often referred to as Balanced Score Cards), Customer focussed Design for Six Sigma incorporating Concept Engineering, the Kano Model for determining Customer needs, product Development based on the principles of QFD. These form the main body of knowledge of the Brown Belt Training course which forms the next logical step towards Six Sigma Black Belt and Six Sigma Master Black Belt qualification.
  • Six Sigma demands decisions based on fact using DMAIC,VOC, SIPOC, SPC and DOE. rather than untested opinion. DOE is taught at Black Belt level. SPC forms a major part of this Six Sigma Green Belt course dealing specifically with the 'M' (Measurements) aspect of the DMAIC problem solving sequence.
