DHI re-launch Quality Showcase events
Summer 2008 will be the occasion of the re - launch of the popular David Hutchins International business networking events. The hosts for this next event will be in the West Midlands close to the M5 Motorway.
David Hutchins says that networking and the cross fertilisation of ideas is essential to business progress. In Japan, JUSE who have been the mainstay of Business Performance Improvement there, established a strong networking structure soon after World War 2 and this has been critical to the extra ordinary progress of its leading companies.
He says that networking was very popular in the UK during the 1980s and into the 1990s but the concept became a victim of cost cutting during the extended recessions of the mid to late 1990s and today little remains of this important activity. This event is intended to revive the process and make an important contribution to the upward movement of business performance. During the event participants will be encouraged to set up informal special interest groups both for industry specific purposes or for the exporation of performance improvement activities of interest.
Fees
to be finalised
In order to attract the maximum number of participants and not to lose any who may still be on tight budgets the fees have been set to merely cover the costs of meals, refreshments and documentation at £80 per day plus VAT (£160 for the two days).
