Training Manager & Consultant
From a background in electronics and software design, Norman has spent the past 15 years as a Quality Management consultant working for large organizations including GEC and Royal Mail. During this time he was also active providing consultation for suppliers and customers of GEC & Royal Mail, as a part of 'partnerships in quality' policies. He has worked with many small & medium sized enterprises achieving performance gains against combined targets of Profitability, Quality, and Employee / Customer satisfaction. Through his pragmatic style he has established and implemented a whole range of initiatives from new tools & techniques to complete corporate Quality Strategies. He has lectured, conducted training courses and consultancy in many locations in Europe, North America and West Africa. Norman is a member of the Institute of Quality Assurance Council, and the Professional & Policy board, also actively participates in British Quality Foundation steering groups.
As a Six Sigma Master Black Belt Norman has played a major role in the development of DHI Performance Improvement courses and is a very popular presenter of the DHI Six Sigma programme. Many visitors to this site will also be aware that Norman is a major contributor to our Touchstone magazine and in particular, the section on tools and techniques. |
